Disc-Go!

Multiplayer, Party-game

Made in Unreal Engine 5.2

I worked on the 1UP Scheme through Staffordshire University over the summer of 2024 to develop the new game concept Disc-Go!. The game was shortlisted for TIGA's best "Social Game" award the same year.

The game was designed based on a mechanical prototype delivered by the institution. We were told that the design goal was to make it easy to "pick up and play" - an excellent fit for Exhibitions and Events.

Since then the game has been shown at EGX, UKIE, UCAS and other games related events that the University has participated in.

    • Later in development I assisted in restructuring the HUD Widget within the engine to be dynamically created and updated, alongside improving positioning when resizing the game window across the different UI screens.
